A fresh start means new ideas, right? With this overhaul of my website, I’ve decided to take a new approach to it.
First of all, I’ve combined my two websites – Photography (www.Emily.Kincke.com) and Crafty (www.Simply.Kincke.com). I feel it will be easier to maintain and stay up to date with my posts and galleries, plus it will be easier for you to know what’s going on with me in a complete sense all in one place.
Second, I want this site to be a combination of work and play as my life is already. I’m a photographer and crafter. My job is to enjoy life and to tell the world how much. I do this through my photography, my scrapbooks, and even my cards. Every bit of me is in them. You can learn all about my life through my scrapbook pages. You see my growth through my cards. You then get a glimpse into my inner self through my photography.
Third and finally, I will update regularly with photos and musings of what’s going on with my work and play.
I don’t plan for this website to be like other “blogs” as I really don’t like that word. My website is still a working site for my business as an artist. You just get to learn a bit more about the person you are hiring. Don’t expect to read about me walking the dog, but more about how my work interests you.
I’m so glad this “mistake” of deleting my previous site came about because it allows me to start over again. There are no mistakes in life, just life.
