Eco Care Frames by Nielsen and Bainbridge
I came across these simple, yet beautiful Earth friendly frames today at Gordon’s of Metairie on Vets. They are called Eco Care from the brand name, Nielsen and Bainbridge.
I wanted to share with you all the “green” aspects of this frame. I have been looking for a great frame at a reasonable price that is either made from recycled wood or bamboo and here it is. The frame is made from 100% bamboo grass which is a self-renewing sustainable resource, the finish is water-based stains with no oils or chemical solvents, the mat board is made from recycled paper and is biodegradable, the backing board is made from recycled wood pulp, and the packaging is made from recycled paper and can be then recycled with other cardboard materials. How much better can you get?
I also love the different styles they offer, all of which are clean lines with a natural yet modern look. I purchased the Windsor Antique Black 8×10 frame for Scrap Pink to display and sell my photography. I plan to purchase the other styles and sizes for the rest of my photography. I hope to soon have enough to use as my sole frame in gallery settings and selling pieces. They have definitely found a loyal buyer and I do hope they keep coming up with more styles and ways to help the Earth.
